Our Program

Central Christian Academy staff members are certified teachers who feel a  calling to minister in Christian education. They are encouraged to pursue  regular enrichment courses that will enhance their teaching. Each is a committed  Christian and an active member of a Bible believing church.

We offer Kindergarten through 8th Grade, a full Daycare program for children ages 3 through 8, a Pre-K program for 4 & 5-year-olds, and a Nursery School.

A high standard of Academic Achievement is  always maintained.  All curriculum is Christ-centered and fully integrated with  the Word of God.  We use Abeka and Bob Jones.  Annual achievement test scores reflect our students  consistently scoring 1-1/2 to 2 grade levels above the national norms.

Students are encouraged to participate in  extracurricular activities including: Instrumental music, chorus, boy’s and girl’s basketball and volleyball, student council, and cheerleading.

Our Facility

The Academy is located in the Family Life Center of  Central Assembly of God. This modern, air-conditioned building contains ten  classrooms, a conference room, library, multipurpose gymnasium/cafeteria,  kitchen, offices, locker rooms and computer lab.  Daycare is in the new learning center attached  to the Academy and can be accessed from Scariot Lane. Preschool and  Nursery are in the newly renovated lower level of the church.

All of these areas are bright, clean, and  comfortable.  Every CCA student must comply with the Uniform Dress Code policy adopted by the school board.  We expect the children's clothing to be clean, neat,  and modest.  Final discretion on student dress rests with the administrator.

Free transportation is provided by all local school districts within a ten miIe radius of Central Christian Academy.

Statement of Faith

Because Central Christian Academy is sponsored by Central Assembly of God, our school teaches the 16 tenets of faith of the Assemblies of  God.   The baptism in the Holy Spirit (tenet 8) will be taught from an historical perspective (Acts  2:4).
